Welcome to Assamese Community of Georgia (ACOG), a vibrant and inclusive group that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Assam, a state in the northeastern region of India. Our community is dedicated to fostering connections, preserving traditions, promoting unity among Assamese people and their friends living in Georgia.

Our Mission

At the Assamese Community of Georgia, our mission is to:

  1. Cultural Preservation: Preserve and promote the unique culture, languages, and traditions of Assam.
  2. Community Building: Provide a welcoming and supportive environment for all Assamese individuals and families living in Georgia.
  3. Education: Promote Assamese language and history, both among our community members and the broader community.
  4. Social Engagement: Organize cultural events, festivals, and social gatherings to strengthen our bonds and share our culture with others.
  5. Community Service: Contribute to the local community through charitable activities and volunteering.

What We Do

Organize Assamese cultural festivals, Family gatherings and yearly picnic.
Collaborate with other cultural organizations and participate in intercultural events and showcase Assamese culture.
Support members in times of need and offer guidance for newcomers to Georgia.

Fundraising, Community service, Collaborating with other non-profit organization for various social cause in the state of Georgia.
