Continuing our cherished tradition of community service, the Assamese Community of Georgia (ACOG) was honored to support the Atlanta Children’s Day Shelter this year. Since 1986, the Shelter has been a beacon of hope for families experiencing homelessness, providing vital care to nearly 8,000 children.
We are immensely proud of our ACOG family for their overwhelming generosity. Through individual contributions totaling $1,210 and a matching donation of $600 from ACOG, we successfully raised over $1,810 for this cause. This achievement is a testament to the strength of our close-knit community. We extend our sincere gratitude to Rahul, Malovika, Krishna, Lakshya, Arunabh & Abhijit for their dedicated leadership in spearheading this initiative. We look forward to many more years of collective giving.
